Our special short breaks are an excellent way to enjoy some 'top quality fly fishing' on the edge of the beautiful Dartmoor National Park. Fishery Owner, Abigail Underhill will be waiting to show you into your delightful cottage when you arrive. You will enjoy outstanding comfort and facilities throughout your stay Next, you will be shown the lakes and be given a two fish permit that very evening to wet your appetite. This really is somewhere very special where you can relax and enjoy yourself The following morning, you will be able to start fishing at first light, should you so wish.  Later, at mid-morning, you will be served with a delicious 'hot' bacon and egg sandwich. There are Rainbow and Brown Trout just waiting for you to catch them at Tavistock Trout Fishery. Lady anglers are always very welcome here. "Alice" our pet "Pot Bellied" pig  will be very happy to make your acquaintance. Even if you don't fish, it's a wonderful place to stay, with lots of relaxing moments and fresh memories. Your Trout will be gutted and frozen, free of charge, during your stay, ready for you to take home. The fish in the right hand photograph became the British Record in 1994. Tavistock Trout Fishery can accommodate a maximum of 10 persons if all anglers require a separate bed.

15 persons can be accommodated if double beds are shared, and 18 persons can be accommodated if 3 persons are prepared are prepared to sleep on a sofa bed or pull out bed.

Ideal package for Corporate Events, Get Togethers, or if you just want to get away from it all for a few days fly fishing in Devon.
