Decorating has now been completed in all our cottages.

I have just added "Free View" to all the Cottages.  All the lounges have DVD's, Videos and Free View.  All the bedrooms have 'brand new' 19" wide screen LCD TV's, with built in DVD and Free View, HD ready, with Scart and HEMI input and remotes.
 

26th July 2010 - Nigel Croft with the help of 2 other Crofts - Their Bag totalled 14 fish - 1 x 8 lbs - 1 x 5½ lbs - plus 11 Trout between 1½ & 2 lbs.

24th July 2010 - Trout 9 lbs 8 ozs, 9 lbs 4 ozs, & 4 others over 2 lbs  Caught by Adrian Kruger from Plymouth

15th March 2010 - Triploid Brown Trout 13 lbs  Caught by Joe Carey with a "White Minkie" - Photo on the way !

25th February 2010 - Triploid Brown Trout 14 lbs 8 ozs  Caught by Dave Truscott from Plymouth with a "White Minkie" from Big Osprey Lake

20th February 2010 - Triploid Brown Trout 13 lbs 5 ozs Caught by Brian Havill from Postbridge with a "Minkie".  Brian also caught Rainbows of 3-1-0; 2-14-0; & 4-6-0.

19th February 2010 - Triploid Brown Trout 10 lbs 4 ozs Caught by Richard "Fig" Voisey from Buckfastleigh with a "White Booby"

18th February 2010 - Triploid Brown Trout 8 lbs 8 oz Caught by Jeremy Jones from Surrey with an "Orange Goldhead"

13th December 2009 - A Fine Brace of Triploid Rainbow Trout 9 lbs 5 ozs and 7 lbs 12 ozs Caught by "Tiger" from Tavistock.  These were part of his 5 fish bag totalling 24 lbs 10 ozs

12th December 2009 - Triploid Rainbow Trout 8 lbs 6 ozs  Caught by Mr Turner from Plymouth with a "Missionary"

8th December 2009 - Triploid Rainbow Trout 9 lbs 9 ozs  Caught by Donna Rainbow with an "Orange Blob"

Our holiday cottages are mainly offered for weekly breaks.

"The Snug" - "Clearbrook Cottage" - "The Old Stable" & - "Pond Cottage"

All our properties are detached and can sleep different numbers of people.

Set in 40 acres of Trout Farm and Fishery, only 200 yards from the "Trout 'n' Tipple", serving good food on your doorstep.

You can watch the fish being fed, see the variety of animals from including sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, geese and ponies, roaming on the farm.

All fly fishing lakes are on site.  You will be welcome to fish, even if you just want to "have a go".  Tackle and tuition can be arranged at a minimal charge.

and fished the Junior Lake
on their last day.
They caught two fish each.

There is also a children's fishing lake, which both adults and children enjoy.

The lakes are stocked with Brown and Rainbow Trout.  In 1994, the fishery held the "British Record" for the largest cultivated Rainbow Trout, 30lbs 12ozs.  The record Rainbow caught during the 2000 season was 26lb 10ozs.

MOBILE NUMBER FOR LAST MINUTE ACCOMMODATION & FISHING ENQUIRIES

I now have a mobile 'phone number for last minute holiday accommodation bookings.
Should anglers wish to talk to the owner to ask about how the lakes are fishing etc please feel free
to call me day or evening.  Sometimes my fishery phone is not answered and I would like
people to know that they can call me.  A lot of people already call my mobile and that is fine.
