All our properties are detached and can sleep different numbers of people.

Set in 40 acres of Trout Farm and Fishery, only 200 yards from the "Trout 'n' Tipple", serving good food on your doorstep.

You can watch the fish being fed, see the variety of animals from including sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, geese and ponies, roaming on the farm.

All fly fishing lakes are on site.  You will be welcome to fish, even if you just want to "have a go".  Tackle and tuition can be arranged at a minimal charge.

Tom, Charlotte, Paulette, and Cameron. Stayed in Lakehouse Farmhouse and fished the Junior Lake on their last day. They caught two fish each.

There is also a children's fishing lake, which both adults and children enjoy.

On site is a well stocked fly fisherman's tackle shop.

Ducks on Lower Heron Lake

The lakes are stocked with Brown and Rainbow Trout.  In 1994, the fishery held the "British Record" for the largest cultivated Rainbow Trout, 30lbs 12ozs.  The record Rainbow caught during the 2000 season was 26lb 10ozs.

All our properties are furnished to the same high standard.

To secure your booking, you need only make a deposit equal to 1/3 of the cost of your holiday.

Booking payments can be made by card, over the 'phone.

These excellent breaks are new for 2008 and include accommodation, fly fishing on the fishery, hot bacon + egg sandwich every morning and a trip including fishing (tackle provided) with champagne and lunch on our 36 foot motorboat "Hobbit" On the day of arrival, all anglers will receive a 2 fish permit and a 6 fish permit on every full day at the fishery. Fish gutting and freezer service, towels and bathrobes also included. A minimum of 3 anglers can book a 3 or 4 night break at any time from March to October, including the school holidays. If 4 anglers book a 4 night break, the group will receive a £100 tackle voucher to use in our on site tackle shop. 3 night break (Mon - Thurs, or Fri - Mon)     £488 per angler 4 night break (Mon - Fri or Fri - Tues)     £578 per angler Off peak weeks can begin or end on different days Angler's Wives or Partners not fishing will be entitled to a reduced rate. Sea fishing from Plymouth on our delightful F33 Sealine 36 foot motorboat with lunch is charged per day  (Call for details and availability)
 

"Hobbit" is our delightful 36 foot Sealine F33 Power Boat, complete with fly bridge and toilet.

She is moored at Plymouth on the River Tamar in a fully equipped Marina which includes a restaurant and shop etc.

Hobbit can carry up to 6 persons, has twin diesel Volvo Penta engines of 167 hp each, bowthrusters, GPS, Fish Finder, and Raymarine Chart Plotter.  Most important of all, there are flares, life jackets and a life raft, all on board.

I have passed my RYA Skipper's ticket so am happy to accompany you as your host.  "Hobbit" will be fully coded by the end of August 2007 and meets all requisite safety standards in accordance with MCA Regulations for the carriage of passengers.

If you and your friends would like to have a go at sea fishing for mackerel, Pollack, and Bass etc, with a lovely lunch on board, then let me know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
